I run gta v ez, but then again going strong with the i7 and gtx 960m.

Your laptop probably won't run it

See there's your culprit. That will eat an x20m for breakfast

mate, it'll run for you but... i think it gonna be abit lag / driving with some delay not sure. i running it on 2 pc's one super pc and one with 6g ram, gforce 750ti intel i3 - working good with both no lags no overheats

about the overheats - its a laptop and the cooling of it dont know how to cool in high speeds, you can try few things:

1, check the fan setting - gforce / nvidia have fan controller .
2, use the cooling pad idk how it'll help i never used that, i used a laptop for gaming but it was hardcore laptop and it never got overheats.
3, try to run it - see how your laptop works with it and tell me - i can try find how to slove a any problem u'll have.

There's built in protection against overheating. When it gets warm, fans go harder. When it gets hot, components get throttled (limited). When it gets dangerous, the laptop will shut down.

(that's how it works on most systems. Google your laptop to find out if this is true for you)

Don't play too much since laptop is not intended to be used for video games. Laptop will get warm while you play but you dont need to worry that something will melt down.
