WINDOWS 10 - My desktop randomly disappeared

I just turned on my PC, logged on my user and noticed something very odd... everything from my desktop disappeared. All my files are still in /C/Users but it feels like I reinstalled my PC. My Google Chrome wasn't synced, steam didn't launch on start-up, nVidia is asking me to update drivers. Never EVER encountered something like this.

I had a full desktop and all, but saw this when I turned on my pc:

When I typed my windows user password, it said "Preparing your windows" like it's the first time im opening that account. I tried logging in and out but it didnt help.

do u always have "go to settings to activate your acc" on the bottom right of ur screen, look at ur ss's.

yes, always been there.

Btw I've noticed these new folders: TEMP.Stefan-Pc. My normal acc is just Stefan, these 2 just appeared now.


Edit: im restarting my pc as we speak. Gonna tell you if something changes

I had the same thing with all the icons disppearing and everything. There were no new users n stuff either.

Lmfao it fixed itself.. you can either close this or if someone knows tell me what caused it so it doesnt happen again.

Acutally,I had that problem few times.Just restart your computer
