Well..I'm getting 60FPS nornally and 40 sometimes when in gunfights ..


How do I increase the FPS?
Help needed please.

1.Reduce ur settings, update ur gpu driver.
2.(IMPORTANT) Reduce your resolution..you'll sacrifice the beauty of the game but you'll get an AAAAAAAAASSLOAD of FPS.
3. Google GTA San Andreas fps improvement effects and download it..this will remove all the unnecessary particles and smoke (very good tbh)
4. (Don't read if ur sensitive/poor) - If your PC can't run a 2006 game w/ 200fps+ easily..then you need to throw it straight into the trash can

human eye sees around 30fps, where is the point in having more than 60? my PC can have 100fps in any game i played so far but i always cap it on 60.

40fps is fine and never considered a lag unless you are playing fast tempo game, which GTA is not.

TL;DR: - Human's eye can see up to 1000 FPS and, perhaps, above. - 60Hz monitor will always show 60 FPS, no matter how much FPS your game is able to provide. - High refresh rates are noticeable only in dynamic scenes; in slow or static scenes you rarely will see any difference beyond 30 FPS.Oct 18, 2016

Correct.
Btw; fps over 100 in samp gives u crazy advantages in shooting, so, don’t go above 100 fps unless u want to get banned on IM XD. Admins can see ur fps anytime

You would feel more smoother gameplay in 60fps+..try it yourself.
Limit your fps to 30 then limit it to 60 then to 90..and you'll notice significant differences

whats your computer setup cpu gpu and windows version

Uninstall every graphics mod that you have in game. Graphics mods, such as high definition roads, building are even more harder to read than all your settings on high, so make sure to remove them. Mods like crosshair, skins, wont make any changes on FPS so you can keep them.

I recommend you to lower your draw distance and resolution if nothing else helps you. Lowering the draw distance , visual FX quality and resolution will result in higher framerates.
