crash after tabbing at the beginning of the game

i always press esc to increase brightness right after i log in but always the game freezes and i have to end the process anyone got a solution or ?

try deleting gta_sa.set , it will reset your settings but it should fix it

Delete gta_sa.set from your GTA User Files.
Once you launch the game again, set whatever resolution and graphics you want.
That will solve your issue most likely.

This shit happened to me when steam was updating some games or had update itself.
