I doubt this lag and high ping/pl is due to the ddos issue, rather it is the host or something.

There can be someway, it's not like DDoS is nuke of the internet. I'm not much into computer knowledge but there's tons of important businesses and affairs happening on internet...someone would have figured out a way of deflecting something this basic. Maybe added extra security for a few days or smth or masking server IP idk.

Let woot trace where it's comming from and let king_hual add botnet functions to im-rp launcher that uses 10% of internet speed to counter attack. Everyone uses launcher for 1 day and win.

UNITE!
Or just go and beat and him up you nerd.

Some hosts offer DDoS protection (not immunity, you can never stop an attack like this, only mitigate it) but considering the amount of slots the server has, I'd imagine that's very costly. woot obviously knows all this but I'm not sure what his plan is, nor what his current solution is.

The server will be moved one more time within the next 2 or 3 days to see if we can get the packetloss problem solved too. :)

I don't care where the server is moved to as long as the packetloss is gone and the ping isn't bad I don't care.
