I've been asked ingame a lot of times about the usage of localisation devices so I decided to make a newbie guide about them.


First of all, localisation devices are only available in hardware stores which can be found using /hardware. Using this command, you will get a red checkpoint on your radar and it will show you the closest hardware store. Localisation device usually costs 500,000$.

Localisation devices are here so you could send a signal on your location to other members of your faction. This gadget is really helpful because after you call a signal, your faction mates will get your exact location and help you. I advise you to use /fbk every time you find yourself in a gunfight because it could save you.

Note: Localisation device can only be used while you are a faction member.

I'm pretty sure if a business is out of stock it automatically sets the checkpoint to the closest in-stock business.

You'll get a checkpoint to the closest business which is in stock.
Also, the price of a localisation device is 500k and it can not be reduced by the owner, so there is no point of checking other hardware stores, just buy it at the first one you enter.

Fixed. There's only one exception, K3 has put it on 50k in his store.
