Help my SAMP/launcher opens single player
i had that problem,install another Gta i think..
thats what fixed my problem ;D

Did you install SAMP in two GTA folders? For exemple: One in your current folder and one in your GTA backup?Grattoni wrote:Help my SAMP/launcher opens single player
If so, uninstall SAMP from every folder and re-install it only in the one you decide to play with.

I unistalled one in the folder yeah, but icon remains on desktop and whenevr I double click it, it still works as it wasn't ever unistalled... but it loads single playerDarkel wrote:Did you install SAMP in two GTA folders? You probably have GTA SA V2.0 instead of V1.0. You need to downgrade your gta sa version in order for sa-mp to work. I believe there's a program called GTA DEBUG that allows you to downgrade.
Finding where sa-mp is installed is simple. Search your PC for the .exe of sa-mp. ("samp.exe")

Delete and uninstall everything that is related with samp including icons
Re-install samp in the main gta folder and run samp from that folder, if you want create a samp shortened on your desktop it will work i guess.
In case this dosen't work, uninstall everything and delete everything: gta samp & launcher settings at appdata then re-install gta and install samp
Check if it works first before making a backup for gta but never make a backup for samp files.

Before you complain that the launcher doesnt work, make sure that your normal samp actually works.
If your single player starts, the most common reasons are:
- (if fresh gta install) you have a wrong gta_sa.exe version, one that samp doesnt support, google for a gta_sa crack
- disable compatibility mode if you've set one for gta_sa and samp and the launcher
- dont use "run as admin" but just open everything normally

I've done fucking everything I'm growing tired of this, idk what's the issue. it happens with normal SAMP as well, it seems that my SAMP client is still somewhere installed in PC because whenever I unistall it from GTA directory I can still use the icon
