RIP.. XD
This is why ill never understand the reason "We're taking a turf" as a reason to shoot cops.

The fighting now spreads through the entire turf, not just one area. Seeing as players move about on their own to complete 'tasks', they're much easier to shoot as they can't risk getting shot first, because the death of just one of the members doin tasks will cause the turf to fail.

Covering a larger area & being on your own casues more preemptive shooting. The reason why all enemy factions' members(in the turf you're tryin to take over) should be legitimate targets is very simple; 1 or 2 of them are enough to make you fail your turftakeover as they can easily kill one player that is strolling from task to task. This is why preemptive killing is a must to secure the turf.

If that Leone from the report shot our members and killed them, it'd be like.. 'He used a clever tactic to kill one member and make the turf fail', but when you preemptively strike to avoid failing the turf, in the only area in which he shouldn't have been at the time, its DM lmao i

Its almost equal to hindering players to use their brains and strike before gettin struck. Let them shoot you first so you fail the turf, even though its obvious a turf is being taken over.

the way this report got solved makes me cry and check the URL, I can't believe I am browsing italy mafia forums..

why add a feature that will obviously create this kind of situations and then jail people for DM? I don't get this, it was the mistake of that guy for showing up at a dangerous place for him, he could be anywhere else SAFE, but he decided to go to the SINGLE place where he was going to get shoot for being a threat to the taking turf over.

clarify this rule, I already see how the report section is flooding shit

ps. nobody believes you didn't saw the turf blinking

I'll just stand at the main bank, shoot everybody that comes close to me - if an admin asks why, I'll just say I thought they will /rob me

It's not the same thing at all. You are just trying to change a thing which has happened on IM ever since the turfs were introduced.

You could always attack your enemies if they came to an unowned turf while you were taking it. Why the sudden change?

Also, Mikeloff, not cool man, not cool.

edit:
Even his faction mates were getting killed around that area. It's Andrew's fault for going in the turf.

less reasons to shoot = more ppl trying to find other ways to start gunfights aka start a fight over the smallest thing possible.

No turfs = less fun. Since you're all way off-track, i'm just gonna quote myself.
Bossnigguh wrote:Seems like some of you forgot the reason why like 75% of our playerbase actively play's here. They don't login everyday to use /me and RP a car crash or drinking a coffee, they login to hang out with friends and use features that provide rivalries between factions and MAYBE have a little RP fun on top of that. As soon as there is no action going on --> "/f boring, i'm off bye". RP is secondary to majority of our playerbase, especially since all those rules/restrictions that prevent RP scenarios (corruption rule for example) got added. Fact is, there is nothing left to RP on IM that hasn't been RPed 2000 times already.

Basically, if we remove robberies, turfs, runs & wars = dead server in a couple of months. Do you think all those illegal alts join PD to RP? No, they join because being in PD gives them easy, legitimate shootouts. They don't have to drive around for 1 hour and wait for some action to happen, all they do is respond to /em, business/house robbery or type "/p Pull over, NOW" and problem solved.

imo, what we need to do is adjust (and remove) some rules, so everything would fit the script (MG rule for example) and we can continue having both - RP & RPG.

That said, i'm always excited to see more RPG features added since that means more fun and less boredom. xD

Due to the current reports, and how they're dealt with, I honestly don't feel like it's worth participating in at the risk of getting wrongly ajailed, it's always been common courtesy if you died in a turf, even if you didn't notice it falls under "wrong place, wrong time", I've always accepted the excuse of turfing, it's the way it should be

Majority of IM are report horny kids who get satisfaction out of "enemies" being ajailed over shitty reasons like some I seen, sad day for IM, causing more reports = destroying our game-play even more than ever

If you attack someone who's taking an unowned turf, you're obviously DMing.
It's not your turf, thus you have no right to 'defend' it.

what

You could defend unowned turfs so later your faction could take it. You're also giving the enemy a challenge to take a unowned turf.

If it's like that then what's the point of having a turf when they could just reset it and u cant do anything about it XD

@Bee: what is obvious
When tatt was owning every turf, that's what corl/lynch mob was doing.
They rob bizies/houses and make it onowned first and then capture it.
This way, they could avoid a war + gun fights.

That's what's obvious. :d
It does make perfect sense.
