Fire doesn't sync equally for everyone and reporting would be totally flawed.
Just play the way it is right now. No one has had a problem with it before.

Neither I had. But sometimes it might be unfair.

I'm not talking about bunny hopping in general. I'm talking about bunny hopping when you're on fire. It has close to the same effect as /fall, yet gives you some advantages. Also, if you don't want to call that abuse, I'll start selling myself Molotovs and throw them at myself so I could bunny hop x2 the speed. Is that abuse? (Obviously won't, just an example)
My only real question is, why is /fall considered abuse when you're on fire? And if the answer is, (It's non-rp because you'd be burning and you take no damage) Then why is bunny hopping allowed to avoid fire damage? It does close to the exact same thing as /fall does, but gives you a little speed boost.
I'm not going to make an entire suggestion because of this little topic that I want to get clear. Alot of admins are claiming you will be banned for bug abuse when /fall'ing, but it's fine if you bunny hop while they do the exact same thing.

Like you was saying during the /fall-mode you wont lose a single health on your damage which can be a abuse in my opinion.
Why? - When you're on fire and use the /fall mode it's the same that your body is burning up. ( /kill )
When you bunnyhop, at the time you land on the ground you lose a bit health, but you lose less health when you do it. ( Like rolling )
I will not make a big deal about it, but thats my opinion about this ; )

I don't think bunny hopping when on fire is obvious as falling. Because we're used to bunny hopping and we don't give much attention to hoppers. But in my opinion, as long as it gives you advantage and is a bug abuse, it's bannable (according to the server rules).

You kids, this is a game not real life, dont cry all the time because you couldn't get you name on the kill list if the other player hopped away. Is that too much to ask ? IM is fine as it is dont make this molotov thread about BH. Doing /fall when caught in the fire is the same disadvantage as not being able to shoot while on fire. You can get sprayed with a M4 either way. And dont cry about BH and about it being punishable, if you cant handle it go somewhere else and CJ run all day. IMO neither of the things (/fall or BH on fire) is abuse, since you are in trouble either way.

That would be true if it wasn't for the lag. Some people can move on your screen when they are in anims, although they never moved

Throw molotov, use your guns to kill them afterwards.

@ t-dog , people have been punished for /fall'ing while on fire which is considered by Yards as abuse. To prevent more cases like this, he asked a question which should, imo be answered by an admin.

You take damage while running, you take no damage when you /fall therefore it's anim abuse and is punishable. It's pretty simple.
Does that answer your question?

Will it be considered as abuse if we jump onto a wall or bunnyhop while on fire from a molotov or w/e? - is it punishable?

Bunny hopping isn't disallowed. I don't know if you can climb while on fire.

Seems like the case is really closed, add an [Answered] Tag to your title and Helpers will move it to archive.

The thing is try bunny hopping constantly while on fire. You take 5-7 damage in total and that's not exactly what a fire would do, anyways, if /fall is considered abuse yet gives disadvantages as you can get shot on the floor, bunny hopping should be as well as you move x2 the speed and take very little damage.
