It reminds me of our Cipriani times -.-
I realized how fun was it before we got official only upon we were given Paterno. Just enjoy roleplaying and everything will come in time, this way you won't bore the shit out of yourself and always have fun while achieving what you want within time.

Posting screenshots to show you're roleplaying / doing stuff together is cute, but it doesn't decide whether you get official or not. Alot of important things are taken into consideration before giving a faction slot to a group of players.

Nope, woot said it himself back in 2014

Its mainly how you gain trust by being a Unofficial group by an official group. It also sometimes needs money and a good member base.
Not only all this but also having GOOD members, members who doesnt rulebreak, leaders not having a really disgusting attitude via forums etc. It like digging to find a new helper/Admin. same criteria is needed.

Well I am maybe new here but on servers I use to play, there were few "rules" to follow.

1. You need to make 3 posts per week in faction topic (Unofficial and Official faction)
Mostly it is SS, it can be to present inside faction RP, faction vs faction RP, private IC life and such, to show activity.
Trust me, it ain't hard and it will force you to RP even if you don't want but mostly it will get "in your blood" and you will RP and you will love it.
Most of players lose will to RP, but once you start to plan it (and since everyone need to do this, it will be easy), think what to do next, you will improve your
character, your faction and it will end up as movie.

2. As new faction in town, you need to IC get all info you can about every faction in town, business, people and everything in town
This was mostly for making deals, figure out who "BIG FISH" is, how to start making cash, and such.

3. Official factions needs to know everything in town and keep eye on new factions
Why this you may ask? Mostly to help new factions to get connections and to kinda "put them on ground".
Mostly you would do your best to prevent them to grow too much, to listen what you say, until they learn or team up with most of new factions or
start to work for you or for faction that is your archrival, then you need to shut them down, well IC do your best

4. Any faction to get official status, needs to get approved by leaders of official factions.
Since as we stated above, new factions will do their RP in town, they will get attention of bigger factions, mostly official ones and they will get contacted by one or all of them. Soo who will see in the best way how they RP than other factions.

PS: If I remember more, I will post.
One more, RP as mafia or something similar have soo much options to RP than just simple ones most RP (kill dat, rob dat, and such).
If you ain't sure how and what to RP, watch movies and TV Shows.
