I was wondering about something and wanted to discuss with everyone about It.

The question is following, what are the conditions to receive official status as faction? What are the requirements?

You have to make yourself an unofficial with your own thread and crew, be active and show that you put some effort into it and you're going to stick with it. Also you are going to be waiting at least 3 months, if not more.
Then you will be offered a faction once the management thinks you're ready and they're in need of new official facations.

will we choose the faction we want to become or the management will choose the faction?

The management will offer a faction of their choice and of course one thay is available to be taken. I think sometime they let you pick, but not always. It can depend on many things, for example them being busy with a faction as they're using it to work on something. E.G. Corleone is currently being used by king_hual for development, etcera.

Lately unofficials which became official were forced into using the faction slot name (and I think it will stay this way). Therefore if you for example roleplay as 'Valente crime family' while unofficial and you get offered Tattaglia for official, you're going to be forced into changing to Tattaglia and not continuing as Valente.

Well I am part of Colombo crime family It lasts from October 27th, 2015, 4:35 am till now. We're very active and we're focused on the rp and the rp mostly. What to expect in future? Could there be a place for us at official factions?

That's up to the management to decide, but you shouldn't forget there are also other unofficials out there.
They're given to the best unofficials. After all, it's competition for official
