GIF doesn't support many colors, transparency can easily mess your pictures up. Do you have anything like a outer glow or drop shadow?

Once you have made the outer glow or what ever you used, merge it to the background (262626) and then invert text and delete on background.

You should save the "Original" file, not the "Optimized". You can switch between those at the top tab

Shadow, if im changing the backround not to (252525), is it cause problems?

252525 is a different shade of grey and not the forum grey. 262626 is the forum color.
