Best guides are in that section there (the rules)

• Abide by the community's rules
• Have a good and helpful attitude, voluntarily help newbies
• Try to be active in game and on the forum (of course not everyone can be active)
• Don't ask/hint for it.

If the helper applications are open (which I doubt they won't be for a while) then you can apply there.
