I constantly keep crashing after 5 seconds of playing.
I re-installed SAMP but no luck.

What is your OS? Attempt deleting gta.set and reset your configurations, might work, SAMP is dumb and stupid sometimes.

Option that you can try.
1. Restore you GTA file to a previous version
2.Make sure you delete "GTA User Files" from your "My Documents" folder before you uremove you're samp and reinstall it , but make a copy of it before you delete it else you will lose all you're screen shots .

Nothing to do with that, change the comparability on GTA. It's windows 8 that's fucking it up mate.

Well.. there's actually no difference between using Win7 and Win8.
Both work fine (more or less). No compatibilty mode needed.
I'm using Win8 Enterprise for some months now and never had any issues with SAMP nor with MTA.

Windows 8 is bullcrap. It's meant to be used for touch screen devices.
