not sure but..
On a dark place smoke would be detectable. or sniping on a hidden place like bush/edge.

I'm gonna say no because it's going to give you a slight advantage over other players because it helps you spot incoming fire locations faster. e.g. sniper hiding in a bush and sniping meanwhile makes it easier for you to see him due to the purple smoke. << This of course if it's very visible which might be

it really does not give an advantage , its pretty much same visibilty as normal smoke
