Unable to save screenshot

Hello.
I just got me a new laptop and everything works fine except for taking SS. When i press F8 i get the following error ¨Unable to save screenshot¨ in a small blue text. Anyone know how to fix this?
I have already tried:
Reinstalling SAMP
Run SAMP as an administrator
Checked properties of SAMP folder
And yes I do have the ¨screens¨ folder at My Documents - GTA San Andreas - SAMP
Help would be appreciated.

You probably changed the map where it saves the screens in...
That might be the only possibility left (i guess.)

Delete gta_sa.set in your GTA San Andreas User Files and restart the game! =)
(This will not delete anything, it will just reset the settings on the actual game, graphics etc.)

Delete d3d9.dll
or :
Go to : GTA SA User Files and right click folder SAMP , click on properties and go to security and make sure you have ticked permissions allowed for all of the users listed.

Just to be sure (and this is going to sound dumb), are you sure that the folder is not full (goes from 000 to 999)

i guess ur running windows 8 ,i also had this problem when my pc was running on W8 later i changed back to W7 and its working perfect now...
Samp isnt compatible with W8.
try installing SAMP in compatibilty mode , set it to any earlier version of windows.
Hope this will work.

I got the same problem, it started when I install Win 8 and I did not install San Andreas again or SAMP, I simply copy paste it to the new Win 8 all works fine except taking SS.Then I remove all the Gta related files and 'install' it again. Now it works fine.
Hope it works for you.
TIPS: Meanwhile to take SS just press on Print screen button on keybord (Prt Scr) and ctrl+v it on paint.

Sean wrote:win 8 doesn't run well those things,so yeah use win 7 if you want.
I suggest using the compabilty mode to something like win 7 / win xp
RMB on samp --> Compabilty -- > Run this program in compabilty modus --> Win XP (SP3)
This might work as stated above.

SOLUTION!
hopefully.
Lol, go to my documents - gta sa userfiles, samp, and I ask. Do u have a "mappe" named "screens" if no, make one and try then
in the end you'll propertly have: C:\Users\Eier\Documents\GTA San Andreas User Files\SAMP\screens

Try changing up the resolutions - or - check the security settings in Documents - or - mess up with the folders, delete the current screens folder and create a new one - or - set both samp.exe and gta.exe to run as administrator - or - try changing up the compatibility settings - or - make sure all your drivers are up to date (should be) - or - just use fraps, it takes out better quality screen-shots anyway.

setting samp.exe and gtasa.exe to compatibilty mode only lead to crashes for me,i suggest to set samp.exe (the setup) to compatibilty mode then install it.

Some solutions that might work:
-Run you "Samp" as admin.
-Allow it throw your file wall.
-If you have any anti-vruis , turn it off quick then test it , and then you can see if it your ant-virus blocking it.
-Change your Screen resolution.
-Reinstall samp.
-Delete you're "gta_set" --> Its your "My documents" - "GTA San andeas User files".
-Right click on gta_sa.exe (in your GTA: San Andreas folder), then click on "Properties", then "Compatibiliy", then select "Run this program as administrator"
- Look for it maybe here : C:\Users\<YourComputerName>\AppData\Local\VirtualS tore\Program Files\Rockstar Games\GTA San Andreas
-Make sure you're screen shot folder is not full
-Where you screen shot save in My document must sure you set permissions to allow "right click it and choose "Properties". Then choose "Security" and make sure that all users have "Allowed" permissions for this folder.'
-If not try to restore you're GTA folder to a previous date when it was working
-Remove all you're screen shots from you're folder then re-install samp
-Update you graphic drivers
If that does not work let us know
