Yes, "legend" setting is off, my display is to map & blips. I did not change any mods, I'm still using hud that I've been using for years and this bug happened randomly.

nothing to do to fix it just sit and watch i guess

There is no known solution for this problem, it will be fixed eventually, somehow.
