General Audio problem (NOT GTA RELATED)

Well, I just purchased a pair of Hyperx Clouds (the original), and I noticed something strange. Until now I was using my apple earpods connected to the front jack of my PC. When I got the Clouds, I ran the extension+volume control cord from the back of my pc, to my desk and into the headphones, but I noticed some strange sound artifacts, like having no bass at all and having some kind of echo, just sounded wrong. So I decided today to just plug the headphones into the front jack and test it out, and it sounded amazing, the problem is with the jack in the back probably as I've had it tested by someone else, front and back, using no and both cords and the back was worse in every situation. Is there any possible fix for this? Is it maybe a software or hardware-related problem?

@-Hopsin-
play any music, then plug your headphones slowly until you hear the perfect sound.
sometimes when you plug the headphones 100% it might not work well.
