12GB ram - 4GB Graphics - the laptop is new and not over heating at all

and i dont have any mods, (only overdose mod)

remove the effects and change to the deafult one

I've experienced this issue and can say it's due to thermal throttling (your computer slowing itself down so it doesn't die due to the excessive heat).


@Leeby_Wiz Download a temperature monitoring program, play the game until you experience FPS drops. I'd suggest you to keep a watch on three different component temperatures: CPU, GPU and the motherboard.

Use a program similar to HWMONITOR to monitor your temperatures and post a screenshot of you doing so.

I had the exact same problem on all games I've played.

Go to the service you bought the PC from and let them fix it.

My service sent it to Asus general service in our capital city and they updated the BIOS system.

BIOS was not updated and installed correctly when windows was getting installed firstly, therefor I had massive FPS drops every 20 minutes for 20-30 seconds exactly like you, but this fixed the problem.

My PC is ASUS, 8gb ram, 2gb video card 960mx , 3.10ghz - INTEL i5-7200 and I was getting a FPS drop on FIFA 11 XD, it was awful, but thanfully updating BIOS fixed the problem.
