I reinstalled samp and now when I enter the server's IP, it shows "retrieving info". I waited 15 mins but still same. And after clicking on connect anyhow, it runs the game in single player mode.
Wut can I do?!

Make sure you have the same compatibility set for both gta_sa.exe and samp.exe.

After that, try to run the game by downloading the launcher and try to connect with it: https://sa-mp.im/download/IMRP.rar

when it shows Retrieving info, that means you typed the wrong server ip address.
try again with this ip and If its running singleplayer, that problem occurs sometimes when the game takes too long to launch. Just re-connect and it will be fixed.

Compatibility is same for both and I can't install that launcher, it says I need to have .net framework thingy for it

Only IM is showing retrieving info or all servers?

If the problem is on IM, try again one of those IPs: and/or and about launcher showing .net framework error. I will send you a link to download it, if the both IPs don't work

oh, i tried that first IP and it showed "IMRP". it worked but when i connected, it said "I cant determine your GTA version. SA-MP only supports V1o..." send me that .net frame work's link. I'll try connecting with the launcher now. And, when i connected second time, after that 'version error', it ran the game in single player (

So here is the problem, Your current gta version is not supported from SAMP.
Is your game from a dvd version, Steam/direct2drive or cracked?

Just download a crack. Google "gta sa crack v1.0" and it will work.
Also, don't forget to post feedback or your thread will be archived.

If your game is from a dvd version, download this to downgrade your game to a supported version.

If its cracked just download this file and put it in your gta directory

its a cracked version. And after downloading that file, it says 'cannot execute the file' (opens it in WIN.rar). ffs, before i had format my computer, i had downgraded the game IDK HOW, AND I COULD PLAY

It's still same, its running the game in single player even after i put that file in gta directory
