Imagine I Roleplay with a friend doing a car contract where he becomes owner of one of my cars, however, when I want it back he is obliged to give me the car back. If he scams me and doesnt give the car back, is it against rules? can I report + get refunded of the car/money back?

Other variants on this contract that I want to know if are possible is like:
have a clause that says if he pays me 3 mil (for example) he would have the car, otherwise he would be obliged to give me the car.
Have a clause that says that the contract is only valid for one month, and when it ends the car has to get back to his owner.

I'm sure if you RPly sign a contract by saying ; I give you my car for 1 month,after it passes you give it back ; Expiry date , Signed by both of you
Take SS's and if he scams ; refound request and its done...
so cyeah,I think its fair that u get refounded if you "borrow" him a car in that way

I think too, but a helper said me that its better to ask here because he never seen something similar :p

I had a same issue like you did,but hopefully it counts as a scam,so I hope I answered ur question,if not...an admin will still reply/lock it..

No, I've already used it. People can't RP contracts.

Take for instance, the Money van contract, people are like 'hurrrrrr so ticket me now' or 'ok /pay 70k come get the van hurr durr'

or even worse : '/b hurrr so what's the command?' yes.... the command is /RP.



Moral of story, people don't give a shit for IC things, that's why they bunnyhop in GFs to get closer to their enemies. Just today someone tried to rob me I did /me tries to grab his gun and kick his nuts, no reply whatsoever. just hurr durrr lag shootering

I've RPed contracts a lot. Pawn shop's idea is solely based on such contracts.

What I want to know is, have you already been scammed in a rp contract and ask refund sucessfully? Or have you asked to an admin if it is refundable and he said yes?

the thing is that a breach of contract usually goes through the court system and it doesnt always have to go your way depending on your lawyer etc. I suppose the admin team could be that court system

Only in the cases lower than 500k since that's highest possible scam limit, and breaching a contract is a scam in a way.

Scam defines itself 'making someone think that they'll get one thing, when in fact, they get another'. Pure scam if they don't obey the contract.

It has been open for quite a while now.

U must made some kind of deal like if u made IC deal u cant report him and if u gave him OOC u cant get refund
Its only posible if he has done smthing against IC deal
