I have a question. Imagine that the Expiry date of some item in Sanbay is 12 January. You still are able to bid for that item until 23.59 of 12 January, or ... in the moment that we turn 12 January the item expires (after 23.59 of 11 January) ??

Well its because I see people thinking these two ways that I wanted an admin here to clarify this. I also understand it as Perry is saying, if the item expires in day 12, it means that you can't bid anymore in that way. However I would like an admin to clarify this please.

Legaly a day just end at 23:59 of that same day so tahts the right way, or else would be ending at 23:59 of Jan 11. A day end when other start and not end when it start.

I've asked Snuffie a short while ago about this and he replied that if the expiry date is 13-1-2013 then you can bid till 12-1-2013 23:59. At the moment it reached the date 13-1 you've passed the expiry date.

Once the date has been reached, the auction has expired, so if it's 12-1-2013, then the auction will expire on 11-1-2013 at 23:59.
