not very best I know. :P

So here's a result of my average speed of the internet, but lately it's seen that my ping jumped on the all servers of SA-MP. and a large jump after the server move. [PING jumps to like 500 o.O]

I wanted to ask if any other community members faced this issue earlier? If yes is it client side? And how to fix it.
Thanks.

I have the same problem, first my ping is around 70-90 then after a minute or two it jumps to 1000...

The ping is unstable right now.. It should be fixed by itself.

Ok, thanks.

But it's not location I think since it lowered ping for the other users from my country, it gave me wierd constant 500+ ping so I guessing it must be client side or idk what to do. Can it be some kind of virus or DDOS or whatever.

I suggest checking what services you have open, some programs may use internet wich can cause trouble, you can check this the easiest way to look at the right-down-corner from your desktop try to close as many programs possible to regain as much internet capacity.

Another reason could be that other people on your network are using alot of internet capacity, for example your brother is watching alot youtube video's or your father is downloading a movie. If you have WIFI on your router and it's not protected it could be that your neighbors are using your wifi wich can cause lag too.

Another reason that it could be, i doubt it, but it could be that someone is DoS'ing your router, but i don't think that this is the problem. You might call your ISP and ask if they've noticed alot of packages going to your IP.

I hope it helped you.

Fixed itself in later hours, don't know what was the reason though.
