I'm going to buy either of these and would appreciate some feedback.

PS. Both computers have the same specs, but each has their advantages and disadvantages. The Legion has great sound quality compared to average laptops while the Helios 300 has an average (gets distorted at high volumes) sound quality and a plastic build (unlike the 15"model which has metallic build). I've read articles saying the Legion performs a bit worse than the Helios while they have almost the exact same specs which is weird.

It's mainly down to preference, hence they're both two good laptops.

I purchased one too about four months ago, but I went for the dell 7577.

In your situation, I'd go for the Lenovo Y720 because I want to stay away from that gamery/flashy look. I'd also stay with the 15.6, hence the 17.3 is just too big for my liking. Performance wise, the Helios 300 might have slightly more fps, but not a big difference at all.
