I enter login credentials and press "Start". It disappears from the screen or often crashes and runs a gta_sa process in the background. Tried everything at woot's thread.

Works fine with SAMP client.

Happened to me before, all I had to do was restart my computer and it worked like a charm

Tried that already, then I get 'launcher token error smth' and the same problem after that.

go to appdata and delete launcher files there

Then it's compatibility issues, try to play around with your compatibility until it works.
If it doesn't, re-install your game in another location and try.

Well I had the exact same trouble..I deleted the appdata thingy and ran it as an administrator..try deleting the appdata folder again and running it as an administrator if ur not doing so..also make sure that ur launcher is directed towards the right GTA folder etc

Everything is fine, it once even opened GTA but gave an error about a token. Didn't open after that.

delete system32 problem solved Nah don't do it look re-intall it all again delete all possible folders and files (make sure all is wiped) then install the game with a close eye on the details and test it if that doesn't work contact me i will fix it for ya my dear Slowcombe

If you see that error "imrp launcher has stopped working", don't click Close or something else. You just have to wait a few seconds and the game will start working.

Because when you close the launcher, samp process will stop too.

Your PC is probably having a hard time running multiple processes that have a big CPU usage. The process is running, your theme changes but the game does not load, right? I had this issue too, fixed it by doing some tweaking on my running services.
The launcher token you once received is because you did not login within the time frame given by the launcher, which brings you back to the initial issue. Your game runs but does not load, Google it for a fix.

Wait you said your game is crashing....
then you said its going ig then giving you failed token.

If you're able to go ig but its giving you token errors, it means you're not logging in fast enough, if your game is freezing you need another copy, if your pc is shit you have no other choice than buying a new one.

Try this make the Compability of Gta_SA exe to windows 98 and Launcher's aswell. It will open in a shit resolution but lemme know if it works

There's also the option of cleaning your PC, and I mean the actual case. If it's not under warranty open it, clean the dust try to re-plug you RAM and so on. It really sounds like a PC issue not a game-sided issue. Does your PC usually take a lot of time to boot windows/run other games?
