[Answered] External mic not working properly.

I bought a new laptop (ASUS ROG STRIX G502VM). The internal microphone works well but whenever I plug a headphone, the mic doesn't work at all or the sound is very low and buzzy. The speakers/headphones work fine but it's just about the external mic. Anyone can relate and help me please?
I'm using Windows 10 PRO x64. I have all drivers installed properly by ASUS Driver Center or whatever the fuck they call that shit.
PS. It has an i/o combo jack (mic and sound jack aren't separate).
