Windows 10 - Freezing problem

So today I decided to install windows 10 and format my laptop, I did all that.
After getting everything done I decided to install GTA which required DirectX to be downloaded, while that was downloading near the end of it while it was installing components or w/e everything froze, restarted my laptop and from then onwards it kept freezing at the loading circle.
When setting up the partitions, the system one didn't want to go to 500MB which is required and it stayed at 100MB which is for Windows 7, could that be causing the issue or what can it be, I need help please.

Format it once more and clean all of your disks properly through the console.
I had the same problem when I tried to install my windows on a fresh disk and it didn't want to install on that one. You need to hard clean it.

Well, after trial and error for a whole day yesterday, after trying every windows possible, every solution and after shutting down and turning on my laptop for like 100 times I moved back to the beloved Windows 8.1. Hopefully no problems anymore.
This can be solved.
Screw windows 10, windows 7 and all those trash versions

i have windows 10 for quite some time now, DirectX really is a problem with GTA since its old game and so on... i installed old DirectX on my pc, with help of google and now everything is going nicely, blaming windows 10 is not the path you'd want to take as everything can be fixed if you take some time.
I searched online for solutions and what causes the freezing. What I said was wrong.
It's because of some update Anniversary, it's been happening to many users, for some it freezes from 10-30 seconds for some permantently(in my case).
I don't blame the windows, but I've seen questions about windows 10 all over the internet and it's all some issues.

ohhh yeee, they always have problems with this update, it goes away tho in the next patch (about a week or so)...

NOTE: The steps are in diff colors!
Well it is easy to fix, you do not have to download anything mate.. So you click on the start button and type "Turn windows features on or off" > click on that and scroll down to "Legacy Components" and activate "Direct Play" and that folder "Legacy Components"..
Then click OK and it should work now! Enjoy your game
