Being an outsider in an illegal faction is the most common way to get into an illegal faction
Unless you have a good contact inside an illegal faction there is no other way to get invited unless being an outsider. It is basically a trail period you get to prove yourself worthy enough to get inside the faction just like an intern in an company.

What do you have to do being an outsider?

You have to follow orders that the faction members give
If you are available you have to respond whenever you are told to get to some work
You can work alone for the faction if you are free
More work you do, more attention you get by the faction members and more likely to get invited soon
Outsiders will be evaluated according to their
- Loyalty
- Obedience
- How they interact with others
- Leadership qualities
Outsiders will have a common group or a team where they can discuss OOC stuff and will have a common radio frequency to talk IC

Being an outsider does not mean you have full access to a faction. You will just be a worker for a company until you get invited to a faction officially. You can not call yourself as this faction's outsider. You will just be a worker in ABC company for example. You will not be informed IC about the mafia family until you get the invite.

i'd be way more keen to invite someone when seeing them roleplay and not being a spastic rather than just have them load for me

tbh Inviting someone for his roleplay doesn't exist on server and that is right in my seen ,Because faction will not get materials or take turfs or doing runs by roleplay. Being outsider that not mean he is slave, he just proves his loyailty/efforts toward the faction he wanna join. proves that he deserves to join and be one of them aswell.

Just give him deagle and see him rolling.

It was a good guide back then, today nothing works like that.
Usually there are no outsiders and if there is, they probably wont get invited anytime soon.
