Launcher won't open

Hello guys,
I've played on this server a few years ago and now i thought i'd give it a try again.
I've installed GTA San Andreas and after that, grabbed the launcher, but when i open it, i log in, it's "verifying the files| but it won't open nor do anything. It simply stops from doing anything, i can't even find it in "task manager".
Would anyone know what to do about this problem?
