Hello.
I want to buy a PC with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 TI 4 GB, HP8300 MT Core i5 3th gen 3.2 GHz, 8 GB RAM and 500 GB HDD + 128 GB SSD around 250 euros. Is it good enough to run 2018-2019 videogames? Is it worth the price?
Thank you.

i5 K or non-K ?
gtx 1050ti is decent for the price but will suffer with latest titles and some games require more than just 4gb vram, but low settings may do the trick
nevertheless i suggest going for the rx series 570,580 or even the 480,and they go for about the same price as the 1050ti

I would say that everything besides the cpu is just fine for the budget range rig, 1050 ti is capable of running 18-19 games at low/middle settings, stable at above 100fps with ease, but that cpu man, idk i might be wrong but as far as I remember 3rd gen is jut, not enough...quad core without hyperthreading i believe, so that locks it at 4 threads.. I mean yeah, most games usually depends on single core processing but just a tip, try throwing in 20-30 extra euros and get a slightly better cpu so u dont run into bottlenecking issues. Afterall, the cpu is the base of the system and I would definitely say that the majority of your budget should be dedicated to the motherboard and the cpu, to be on the safe side.
Here is an example,
Ryzen 5 2600 is currently sitting at 14 more dollars than the i5 3470 and it beats the shit out of it in every single matter
https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/I ... 2771vs3955 (btw sockets are different so if u decide to go with said cpu make sure that u get a compatible mb)

You are right but the price of AMD Ryzen 5 on Ebay are all above 150 USD+, not sure if that website has a real price tho'.

well yea i was surprised that it was 110 dollars, it was for 200 a couple of months ago, must be a limited time deal on some website maybe...however, I assume that u got my point, 20 more euros and u can get urself a better cpu

Also, please keep the subject and the title of the topic so other players can find it when searching for a solution to the same problem. It means just add the tag to the title.

Intel came with 10th gen processor few time back, going for 3rd gen will not be a good choice in 2019.

The 1050 is ass, don't get it or you will suffer on most modern games. It's slightly worse than a 960.
I've also heard it has stuttering issues from a friend who used to have it.

you'll have problems with games like rust and ark, gta V... but for 250 euros... shit thats good price if you're looking for a cheap PC that isnt actually that bad
I'm not struggling running any of those with high fps on high settings.

u havent played ark
u might have diff processor which ofc matters a lot
1050 is shite and wont work with high settings as u say
I have one of the oldest processors and still manage to run GTA V smoothly and other games on high settings with a decent fps.
