Check backgrounds, nothing uploading nothing downloading.
Clear utorrent files if you have any.
Then usual things, restart pc/router.
Host moved, where are you from?

Weird how other servers are not laggy, Egypt has net issues during this lock-down as I hear.
Can you do an internet speed test and show us?

Complete the following steps so the datacenter can investigate further on the issue:

  • Windows Key + R
  • Type cmd.exe and press Enter
  • In the command prompt, type in:
  • tracert server.sa-mp.im
Give it a moment to finish, then take a screenshot of the results and post it in this thread.

It looks like everyone in Egypt with TEData is having that problem, there is nothing I can do for you. This is the result from M0stafa and it looks like your internet is dropping out already before even reaching Europe. Try using your mobile phone data or use a VPN to a nearby country (Israel, Greece, ..) that should fix your problem.

As a server owner, there's always something to be done. It's not our problem either that you had changed the server's timezone, VPN usage is forbidden as far as I was told by the server Helpers, you should really change the timezone as soon as possible.

Thank you in advance.

He didn't change the server timezone, he changed the host. The timezone has nothing to do with your lag.
As server owners can't make miracles. I guess he's giving you allowance in trying VPN with that msg and see how it goes.

Ye I know, I actually tried logging in with VPN this morning and it was okay though, awaiting woot's script-wise approval of using it again.

That's true, I've been experiencing the same issue, it has been already for almost 2 months, timing out like every 15 minutes, having high packet-loss also, TE-Data. Check my timeout history i timedout over 1000 times this month, and noway to solve out the problem unless i change isp, which is really hard during this period of time.

If you can just allow me to use VPN, i can't go back to deutschland, unless corona is over, ping there average 20-25 maximum.

I work an agent at your company as cable/internet technician on night shifts. It is annoying when you're paying doubled and you call the ISP and address the issue and all you get is Madeha on the other end who wants you to reboot the modem, and then try keep asking you to unplug router, or try your laptop directly in the modem.

If you call us now you are redirected to automated robo operator answer since we're all are working from home now. But don't blame us you're being inundated with stupidity on a constant basis it all starts to bleed together.

While I don't necessarily agree with this too from a personal standpoint, from a business standpoint I can understand why we do it. Some companies are bigger offenders than others of course. This is coming from someone who has worked phones, call centers, et cetera. I understand your frustration dealing with automated systems but I'm here to help you.

Can you please give me your account number? I will see If I can promote you to another faster plan free of change. I can also provide identification over private messages. If it doesn't work out I will forward it to maintenance or equivalent department that deals with issues that ordinary tech might not be able to.
Mate I work with teleperformance so I understand what's going on with working from home, it's a mess. I had to sleep over for 3 days straight not having a chance to go home to keep the work going, I get it.. I didn't mean that, I meant that whenever I call they just tell me the internet is slow cause people are working from home.. Doesn't make sense at all, if ppl working at home makes the internet slow then it should of been slow all the time cause the same ppl use internet at their work lol.
It's fine, I'm using my mobile hotspot and it works nice, I already am subscribed to 16 MB speed so there's no point lol ty xx

For the ones from Egypt as woot mentioned this to be from the ISP, we had a similar huge packetloss 4 years ago, idk if woot remembers, however you will have to contact (if you are TEdata) the online support, and be very specific because they will try to convince you that it is an issue from the server's datacenter (Last time after running few tests, it was the datacenter) but it is worth giving them a shot.

Unfortunately, after calling them, TEdata's customer care has no idea what online gaming is.

I think it is relatively clear that this is out of woot's hands, and all of our hands. This is between TEdata and IT'S ISP.
