Hi,


I recently installed sa/samp on my laptop (W10) now my chatlog doesnt save.
Same goes for screenshots.
How can I fix this.. Chatlog comes in handy in reports etc.

Allow Write and Read permissions on SAMP folder @ San Andreas user files.

Optional: Check data folder located on your game directory, there is a chance your game might be saving ss or chatlogs there.

Thanks man he saves it into the game directory - But it doesnt rewrite it when you log into a new game? How can I fix this?

Lenny delete the folder (screens) and txt (Chatlogs) that the game saves the ss and chatlog and it will auto-make new

Doesnt work.. Re-instal GTA / SAMP?

Re-installed GTA and SAMP, still doesnt work..

Hi

Did someone send you solution on discord?

Follow the steps below:
1): Locate the chatlog file (make sure it is in your Documents folder in the (C:) hard drive)
2): Right-click the file and select "Properties".
3): Make sure the "read-only" is unchecked.

If there is no "chatlog" file - try create one. Open "Wordpad" - add one empty line - save it as "chatlog" and re-try.
If the "read-only" is already unchecked and it is still not working - contact me on discord for live support.
