Hi,
I'd just like to let you know that I'm working on getting those random server crashes fixed - it's quite hard to figure out as it only happens after xxx hours of uptime. I've been extensively debugging it in the past week and I'm doing my best to have it resolved asap as it is indeed really annoying.
Other than that I'm trying to be active as possible, I'll also go through server suggestions during the weekends when I find the time to.
Just to let you know, I'm still alive and I still love IM.
Don't forget that theres Ozzy & K3lroy and the Lead Admins which can do nearly as much as I can.

I don't suppose it would be possible to give Ozzy/Kelroy/Mickey very low level access where they can hit a "restart server button" if it crashes?

Wasn't that because you were co-owner, with the /rcon command? or did head admins have the command aswell?

Wasn't that because you were co-owner, with the /rcon command? or did head admins have the command aswell?
I was never actually a co-owner but let's leave it at that. woot had a panel where the server could be managed, dunno what happened.

Why just not get a scheduled restart at 5am server time? There are only around 9 people online at that time and it would clear the cache and dump the temp. files. ( or whatever causes the crashes)

I have to say. around 5AM the server has still people that are playing.

There will (almost) always be players online, but I agree to a server restart sometime at night untill it's fixed. The echo is not reacting the longer the server has been online & then we cant resolve forum reports etc.

Usually, at around 4-6am there is around 9-15 players online, wich would be an ideal time for an restart.
Beside, when echo isn't working, I cannot get unbanned :S

Still, even if there are 7 people online. Why should be interrupt their Roleplay?
