Hello!

We have decided to bring back the old school version of the Christmas Giftbox event where players have to compete for giftboxes scattered across San Andreas. A maximum of 5 can be spawned at a time allowing the player the opportunity to seek out a different giftbox at a different location to make sure they snatch it before somebody else does. You can locate the closest giftbox by using /giftbox or to view all of them you can use /giftboxes.

You will also receive various rewards ranging from Money to a personally owned Custom Vehicle for the lucky players out there. There is also a chance of receiving a Secret Voucher which at the end of the event we will add up and calculate who has the most. The player with the most vouches will receive a unique Christmas themed vehicle and a personalized/unique custom skin. A total list of rewards a player can receive will be as followed:

Money, Materials, Fortune Spins, Secret Voucher, Racing Tickets, Ecstasy, Meth, Pyridine Hydrochloride, Name/Number change
Vehicle (scrapable), Vehicle Claim, Permanent House Slot, Custom Plate, Euro Balance
Custom Vehicles, maybe that super rare BMW M5 or Dodge Charger will be yours!

Additionally, we have adjusted the giftbox cooldown time for the following:
Regular = 7 minutes.
Premium = 6 minutes.
Starter & Enthusiast = 5 minutes.
Addict = 4 minutes.

What I mentioned during the previous events this year applies to this one as well:

Events will no longer be the free zero-effort zero-risk money-spawning events that they were in the past. Sure, I know it sucks that you can't get a few hundred million by finding some gift boxes scattered around the map like in the past, but with previous events like that spawning $40-50 billion in just 1-2 weeks absolutely wrecks the economy. It leads to massive inflation and stockpiling of resources. New players and players that weren't around during the event have zero opportunity to catch up.

I am aware this is a disappointing to some of you, and the server is definitely more fun with 200-250 people chasing around gift boxes, but this is not sustainable. We're working hard on rebalancing the economy. After many years of insanely lucrative events, having unbalanced businesses that spawn billions at zero risk or effort, and selling premium addict for 2.50 EUR/month it will take some time, but we're getting there.

This isn't just affecting you either. Over the past 2 years, hundreds of people have contacted me asking to spend EUR on businesses, factions, vehicles, or special deals on premium plans. I've said no to every single one of them. I could have probably earned ~ 50,000 EUR if I said yes to all of them, which would have utterly destroyed the server economy and left you with a few players owning nearly everything, and I never did.

The reason for this is we have many plans and things in progress that will allow you to earn plenty of money throughout the entire year. An entirely revamped experience for new players that will encourage them to stick around. Plenty of new game mechanics that can be done alone, with a few friends, or with a massive group that reward you according to the time and risk you invest into it. But this relies on the economy being balanced, because what's the point if you can just wait a few months and earn $300m by playing a few days during the Halloween and Christmas event?

For now, just enjoy the event. It currently gives you a minimum of $600,000 - $1,000,000 per hour for just driving around the city - and much more if you get lucky. If that's not enough for you, or you don't enjoy the event - that's fine too. Just like some people might not enjoy being legal or paintball, it's entirely optional.

Just wait to see what 2025 will bring.

First of all, thank you for your effort but I have few comments on this ( ofcourse if i can, if you didn't like what i will just say you can delete it )
for the first part you said ''no effort and no risk to get hundred million'' let's just compare between ex event and this one, it was +200 player in the server, online and hunt boxes every second
now i didn't see that there are +100 player in the server since the event started
second.....you said you are getting many offers for special deals, etc etc
We all know that it was so hard to get something unique since every unique thing was owned by few players in the past but let's see what it was...none wasn't disappointed from it and we all were just playing and at least have motivation to get billions to can get any of them now you made us have no any kind of ways to get money to even get normal things not even unique

you didn't even give a second way to the players who aren't enjoying it to earn money, you just said it's fine too lol

let's add few things, you killed the motivation in the players
first thing you did, you made the premium for 55e for each month ( in the past i could get premium for a whole year for 110e only )
second thing you did, you made the sweep, look at fun stats ( i won over 500m a net worth from it ) but let's look at the players that lost, they all left the server which means low activity
third thing, you killed all the ways that we used to get money out from it like the 2 events ( halloween and christmas ) and more ways

It's been 100++ every night, with a peak of 178 and 179 this weekend. As mentioned in my post: "I am aware this is a disappointing to some of you, and the server is definitely more fun with 200-250 people chasing around gift boxes, but this is not sustainable."

You would need motivation to get EUR, not billions. The unique things were always sold privately in exchange for big top ups. I haven't made any changes to in-game selling or auctions. In fact, I always made sure things got auctioned so everyone had an equal chance - not just people who are rich in real life.

Correct, offering $1m per hour at zero risk and zero effort is unsustainable for the economy. The price has always been advertised at and intended to be 55 EUR, woot just never had time to fix the exploit that everyone abused.

Literally 17 out of the 20 last played this month, with 15 out of 20 having played in the past 24 hours. Why are you making stuff up?
