Well, when I press F8 to take a SS my game freezes for like 3 secoonds, this is really anoying cause when in chases, GF, watever, I cant SS..... I don't think its because of my computer specs but still let me put them here:

Other problem I have is my SAMP crashes like everyday multiple times per day, I will copy the crash report next time and update here... This problem comes from the old SAMP, didn't fix when I updated it.

Well, this can be done because your ram is 3.3gb and when you play the game (GTA SA) the usage is over then 2gb even if it's showing you that the usage is on 1.6gb to prove it go to your BIOS., your hard driver you just have 44gb free place so it shows that you'r PC is filled with files well this is not a big problem i guess, in this case delete your MODS if you have installed MODS or try to re-install SA-MP or the Game.
If you still have to same problem after uninstalling the game and SA-MP, contact me i will help you in another ways.
If you ask me why this is happening to you because when you take SS with f8 everyone's PC is getting freezed for two seconds or more and in this two second your computers/laptops temperature is going over the limit you can prove it by opening your task manager and f8 it or download simular programs that shows your PC's performance, temperature etc, and the game is getting crashed even your computer can get crashed/damaged so please do my suggests because you can impair your PC.

I have no mods at all...I'll try to reinstall SA to see if it fixes.... SAMP I don't think it does since I already have this problem before the SAMP update.

Also, one more thing i would like to add , in my old PC my specs was 3gb and 512 graphic card but i had the same issue so i changed my game resolution and i fixed it, but in my new computer , 8gb ram 4gb graphic card i3 i got no problems even if my game resolution is on high, so the single solutin is change your game resoltun or change your computer.

Well I reinstalled today SAMP + SA .... And still the same problem...

Guys, I have the same problem with F8 freezing for a few seconds and I have 16 gigabytes of RAM.

Did you clean your PC for dust etc. lately, cus that makes a huge difference, especially on lower-grade pc's

And also 44GB harddisk is very little, i would suggest either deleting most of the things on your PC to make up room (increases your performance slightly) or upgrading to more memory. I could imagine that everytime u took a SS the computer screezes out every little memory theres left on it..

Well my resolution is maxed: 1280 x 1024 x 32 ... I changed it to minimum and it seems it has something to do. It still freezes but not that much... however I'll never play with this resolution in my life..fuck the SS I'll use fraps.

By dust..you mean actual dust?? or like using a cleaning tool to clean regs and that shit?

You think that 44GB of free space restains, in any kind, a photo that is 1mb? I mean... I have 44.000 times the space of what it is trying to record... However I'll try to empty some space.... see what I get

I would of thought that's because it's taking a snapshot of your game, so obviously you might experience a little lag for a few moments. It shouldn't be that bad.

1st - Did you watch the youtube video? it's clearly not a slight freeze.

2nd - When I take SS in my laptop (that is way more shitty graphicaly) it doesn't freeze almost nothing.

3rd - When I take SS in FRAPS...it doesn't freeze NOTHING.

I have the same problem too.
It is SAMP/GTA SA issue, it depends on your resolution "the time of freeze".
Better to use fraps for taking screen-shots, without freezing the game.

I also freeze with F8..I thought it was normal lol

Just a reminder, any SSes except the SAMP screens [F8] won't be considered valid in reports/appeals.

As some above, I've had the same problem always. Always thought it was normal, and I've got used to it.

Yes I used the CCleaner, I reinstalled SAMP and SA and nothing... Well I'm not living with it. If I'm in a car/foot pursuit and use F8 I loose the guy, if I'm in a GF and press f8 I stop and get hit.... I'll just use Fraps in these situations. Even if admins chose not to accept.

well you got in pc virus or its the problem whit gta san andreas script data .. i can send you the script data if you want pm me .

Well when it reaches 1000 I archive them in a folder and start all over the counting...so..... I guess the problem is not there

Right click on gta_sa.exe (in your GTA: San Andreas folder), then click on "Properties", then "Compatibiliy", then select "Run this program as administrator" try it

Start > Run > %temp% [ Delete every file inside that folder ] > Recycle bin [Right click] > Empty Recycle bin and the problem should be fixed... Or just Move All SS's from Screen Shot folder in to Backup drive.

Mine used to be like that.... now it freezes for a lot more time

Have you tried a memory fix for it yet , allow your samp to run on more of your memory , the standard is like 125 mb. Get a memory fix that will fit with you available memory

I got the same problem, when I prees F8 the game is being freeze for 4 seconds and before few months when I did F8 it has taken SSs in 1 sec... idk what happend
