Is that happend to you first time, or after installing windows 8 can you explain it better and post some pictures.

Even if that doesn't help you, try to delete the img file.

That won't do anything.

Most common solution is to change the compatibility.

I have windows 8 and it works just fine. Just re-install gta san andreas and then it would be all solved. If not download samp and install that too. I hope it will work;)

That's right "Shadow" here is the solution "

Open SAMP.exe and GTA_SA.exe's properties and ran them both in admin. it worked in my friend. without no compatability. Just run it as admin. both samp.exe and gta_sa.exe.

Same here, my laptop runs Windows 8, I had a replacement laptop for my old one that broke and because I still had a warranty on it and had it returned 4 times already, they offered to replace my laptop for a whole new one with better specs, but also including Windows 8. I was a bit edgy about Windows 8 at first, but the problems are resolving itself quite rapidly. That being said I had absolutely NO problems installing GTA SA and SA-MP whatsoever.
