Hello Today I went with my boyfriend to spend money so someone pretending to fbi and told to stop now and then we ran so late we stopped we were told to give up Grove Street then left with him, and we got guns and fired and then we died

Everyone can claim that their are an FBI agents, they ain't breaking any rules, but that's sure stupid as hell.

I thought people aren't allowed to impersonate LEO? I know it's stupid and should be dealt with IC, but wouldn't everyone claim they're PD/FBI/SASF?

They just want to kill "the law does not make a DM"

As far as I know and by reading the Server Rules section quickly, there is nothing about that..

You should contact the LSPD via the 911 phone service or any other LEA in this case as that's an IC issue.
On the other hand, DM is surely not allowed and you should report that player if he killed/attempted to kill you without a proper reason.

Someone should update the server rules' topic if more than one admin acting against this issue.
So, you're 50% right though it's not a global restriction as far as I see.

Well, if it's on the borderline, suggest it.

I have no intention to suggest it as I think it's an IC issue and should be dealt with IC.
It's seems like you're the one who claim otherwise, then you should suggest it.

As other players stated above me, this should be dealt IC, as fooling people IC is allowed.

FBI will always be able to identify themselves. If a person claims to be FBI and cannot show some proof of him actually being an agent, report it to the cops.

As you said yourself, suggest to add that to the official server rules if that bothers you so much.

This doesn't go into the domain of rulebraking.

FBI probably won't identity themselves like that, there's a lot of suggestions to do in these cases above.
You are allowed to impersonate a FBI agent, police officer, any other person, etcetera; once it's done IC, therefore you have to report this IC to a law enforcement agency for example. Since you died in this scenario, you won't be able to report this IC again but I hope now you understand what to do next time if this happens.
