Basically I put in this new skin mod and straight after I kept getting this crash, so I'm wondering if I can remove this mod, or do whatever, Sadly I don't have any backup files for the skin. Any help will be greatly appreciated

You should try to remove the skin mod that's probably the issue.

No need to add skin mod, go to binco clothes and try change your skin and see if you crash again , if yes, I will give you video how to stop the crash via PM.

The crash is when I actually click on the server when I go on Server list, so I hit connect and thats when the Error/Crash Report comes up

Just remove the mod same way as you installed it...

I don't know what progam you used if it's Alcis, open it up there would be a button named '' Open '' click on it and pick the place you've set the mod in it's probably named '' Custom '' click on it and search the skin mod click on it and hit the delete option.

I used IMGTool , and the way I put the mods in, it's not letting me get to that place, otherwise I'm sure I could of removed it.

what img file have u added the mod too? gta3.img / SAMP.img / custom.img ?

Re-Install Gta San Andreas and name of download skin (skinname).dff and .txd and upload in custom.img.

Ufff .. that wasn't so smart, since gta3.img is the biggest, and consists most of the files necessary to run the game .. Well the only thing you can do at this point is either reinstall your San Andreas or just copy/paste a new/unedited gta3.img file. And if you ever plan on modding ur game in future, use custom.img. Store the backup file on the side, and you won't have to worry about a thing. The file was made for that purpose anyway

Thanks for the Advice Linn/Carmine but the thing is, is that I have reinstalled it twice, yet it has the same problem, the main thing is that I can't open gta.3 like I did before adding the mod (Just doesn't open up.) , otherwise I could of replaced it with the Original.

Try re-installing your game again, but this time install it in a different direction than before.. When you deleted the game, some corrupted hidden files remained most likely, and that's what's causing the problem.

He doesn't need to re-install the whole game, he can search for the original files he replaced.


If you want the original files, tell me which files and i'll send you a .rar file with the new ones.

On Topic :
One of these will surely work - Only proceed to the next one if the prev. step doesn't work!
a) Remove the skin mod - Try youtubing a tutorial or something
b) Run SA-MP as administrator. That pretty much solves all SA-MP related problems.
c) Delete the gta3.img file found the GTA San Andreas installation folder under the sub-folder "models". Afterwards, download an unedited version and place it there.
d) Use the latest version of StreamMemFix. Make sure you have an ASI Plugin loader installed before that. Google that stuff up. It's really easy.

Even if it doesn't work after these, then your only choice is to reinstall GTA San Andreas.
If it doesn't work after that, then format your PC and reinstall Windows.
If it even doesn't work after that, get a new PC.
If that doesn't help, just quit.
