Hello.
I've been playing in the server for quite some time but still, I don't know details about it.
I want to know more about the history of the server including the names of all the founders, what they were like, why they left, what was the server like before, who was Algren and Alan, who Red-Zero was, some info about him, when was DarkHorse owner, what was the server like before Laurentt tried to make it a RP server, was it TDM?, which part did woot come in, bla bla..
An answer from a really old player would be nice.

I know that the original server was founded by an Italian guy in 2007 it was i think.

That way it will take me a year to know about the server.
And I think it should be in General Talk as many people don't know about the server more than I do and they can discuss it correct others' wrongs.
Anyway, what you think is best.

Algren was the previous owner, he promoted woot to be owner. Then woot abused the fact he was a good scripter and made himself admin lvl 163618368 and took the ownership grom Algren

The server was founded by players from the former GFRP mode which included the five families. The initial owner was red-zero who made the server like GFRP used to be before moving on to their new script. By the end of 2007, he became inactive and during 2008 Algren took ownership. He held onto it untill 2009 when Alan became the owner along with DarkHorse. That is when IM dropped from around 100 players to 20 and it soon shut down. Then Algren restarted it in 2010 and soon afterwards woot became and still is the owner. Inbetween Algren's 2008 and 2010, there was an IM owned by Laurentt, but it had more characteristics of Alan's IM rather than the old IM or the current one.

It's possible, but I am pretty sure their IPs were logged which means if it's true, then they are evading.

I am not sure but it's probably to avoid them advertising for their future-running communities to players, and because of their behaviors maybe.

You mean because woot wanted to bury the idea that the server is stolen

I wouldn't call it stolen according to woot's Meet The Staff thread, but at least it was legaly stolen as woot was the one putting effort and scripting.

According to woot's history, the server was never stolen. Like Aleya stated above maybe it was legally stolen.
