Hello everyone, I think this will be the wrong section, but this is a question that is NOT related to the server.

But anyways, I just downloaded Speedfan, someone prefered it, he told me I could adjust the speed of my notebook fan.
But when I open the program, it should show me the speed of my fan, but it doesn't.

Speedfan won't show me the speed of my fan, and doesnt give me the permission to speed it up.
Computer specs ;

Intel Core i5 - 2450m
4GB Ram
64 Bit
2.50GHz
500 GB HDD
+ Nivida Geforce 2GB Turbo - 610m
Windows 7

I am not someone that knows allot about CPU fans/GPU fans. + My BIOS doesnt show me anything about my fan speed ( RPM )
Is there anyone here that knows how this works, if yes, I'm ready to give my TeamViewer and/or Skype.

Sorry, but my English is pretty bad.
But my only question is, how can I speed up my notebook fan.

Cause my notebook is getting pretty hot when I'm playing a game.
And I heard that Speedfan would be a good program for it, but it doesnt work for me.

So my question was, how can I speed up my notebook fan.

Remove the dust that might be clogging up your heatsink.
Speedfan only shows you the temperatures, afaik. I have the same problem, that you described. Unfortunately, it's time to buy a new pc, in my case.

Damn!

I removed the dust weeks ago, to test the temperature, that didnt work.
Then I removed the dust everywhere in my notebook, the dust at the motherboard, everywhere, every single spot.

+ The weirdest thing is, i'm playing on a new notebook, I got this one for like 2 months..
Should I call the store, to ask them what I can do about it?

Some people prefered a new fan, a new fan that has more RPM.
Mine has 2400 RPM, the newest fans go up to 3900 RPM.

I'll try to get a new one, for sure.

There are certain procedures you will have to do to enable them, but before that, are the fans connected to the motherboard?

My question is answered + I'll add it in the title.

SOLUTION:

I got a email from ASUS, they told me that my motherboard control my fan's, I'm not able to change it manually.
