No audio can be heard in general or just while playing SA:MP ?

About the TS3 thing, it's something called ; Stereo Mix. In order to disable stereo mix function, there are certain procedures you will have to do, but before that, what operating system are you using ? (Windows, Mac OS .. etc)

To fix your sound problem you should try to disable and then enable your sound card from the device manager. It should work, but if it doesnt, downgrade the version of your sound driver and then again get the newest sound driver

Windows Vista/7 instructions:
Start > Control Panel > Hardware & Sound > Sound - Manage audio devices
Right click each speaker on playback tab and click 'Test' until you find a speaker that sends a output.

Still no luck? Reply back.

Check the FAQ of sound cards: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/wind ... -questions
And did you do as I told you? Just disable your sound card from device manager and then re-enable it.

Ok, what computer do you have and what kind of speakers do you use?
It's not your audio card, I am pretty sure you use realtek or something similar to that.
But b4 I can help you with that I need to know what kind of speakers & computer you use, ok.<

Also.. if you turn up to max volume, do you hear a statics or something from your speakers? or don't you get any sounds at all?

Try to take off the USB and then put the USB in the computer, maybe it will work? and the sounds doesn't work in something specific? or the sound doesn't work in everything?

Lol, I knew that it was realtek since realtek sucks.
Well, most of the times it's because the volume inside the realtek control panel has been muted or something, it maybe be that simple - however, sometimes it gives away a static noise, that's why I asked.
Realtek HD is high defination sound (lolok) and has a badass sound when using razor megaolodon headphones.

If you don't know what to do, you should not mix with it as it can corrupt your sound (yes it can).
You maybe have been mixing with the HD sound or something, maybe you have deactivated it - but I doubt it really is that simple.
Unplugging and plugging in your USB / Adapter won't work, it will just corrupt it even more if you keep doing so.
Also, realtek is some Chineese shit - that would explain it, right?
There's nothing wrong with your speakers, but with the chipset of yours.

I will give you instructions on how fix it tommorow w/ pictures, yes.
You may try to open the audio though and try to fix it yourself - you may google around,
should be a red / orange speaker on your windows bar. Right click on it to open the options.

By the way, do you use Windows 7?

As I mentioned above, that occurs because of Stereo Mix. In order to disable it follow the next steps :
  • Go down to the audio icon in your system tray, right-click it, and go to “Recording Devices” to open up the proper settings pane.
    Image
  • In the pane, right-click on a blank area, and make sure both “View Disabled Devices” and “View Disconnected Devices” options are checked. You should see a “Stereo Mix” option appear.
    Image
  • Right-click on “Stereo Mix” and click “Enable” to be disable it.
    Image
(If the 'Enable' function has a V, that means it is enabled. If it has no V, that means it is disabled. HINT: you need it disabled.)

Ok, you have windows 8, lol whatever..

First of all, unplugg your USB / Adapter that connects the sound to the computer, do not plugg it in yet.

Let's say you've just logged into your badass computer - all you see is your desktop and all the porn you have downloaded.

Now, wherever your windows bar is located (mine is located on the top because I am retarded), you will click on the little arrow there. You will probably see an orange speaker, right click on it, different options will then come up. What you do then, Is that you click on the "Audio Manager" - it would also be an orange speaker.
Spoiler
Image
Stereo Mix options will then come up (this shows that your chipset is working) - now you may plugg in your adapter / USB device for sound once again. Probably another box will come up called "Speakers" if not.. close the window and repeat the steps above WITHOUT removing your adapter / usb device. However, choose "Stereo". And make sure that the two square boxes on the bottom is checked (just look at the picture and set the settings like I have)

NOTE: If you use an adapter for sound (an plug or w/e u want to call it) then make sure to connect it to green, ok.

The reason why I think it's problem with the realtek itself is because you had no sound but your friends hears sound @Teamspeak/Skype. And then I actually knew it was realtek. Sometimes it's because the sound is not marked as "Stereo" nor that the virtual sound & front right and left is activated. It can cause statics.
Hope this helped.

Just chuck the PC out of the window. That'll fix it.
