I'd say it's up to admin's discretion. Calling someone a 'bad guy' would merit an admin calling the reporter a sensitive pussy or you a lengthy jail sentence. Just be careful with your usage of insulting phrases and don't let yourself get into those aggressive situations. I'm most likely the most temperamental person you've ever met and I've never been jailed for insults.

I think people need to grow up regarding OOC insults. The amount of reports admins have to deal with over dumb insults liek "retard" just to see the other player jailed is ridiculous. People should only report for serious ones like Racial insults etc. I mean c'mon people!!

I got jailed for 100 minutes for naming someone a fucking retard, whilst I said it for a reason, to make him stop shooting lvl 1s. It was on /f chat.

It sounds fair to me.
If you had said 'idiot', or 'noob' then no. 'fucking retard' is a bit more serious and thus the jail seems justified.

I wouldn't have personally reported you for that but that's justified. 'Retard' is a politically incorrect term which is considered extremely offensive to different communities in all English speaking countries.

I get your point. The term is used too passively and immature kids and people who are not aware of the connotations of the word also start to use it as a dirty habit because of those certain individuals who use it too much.

I apologise for the immature comment. I couldn't resist but yes, administration should clarify that the word isn't to be taken lightly especially for those who have mentally disabled friends and relatives.
