A SanBay auction is purely an IC agreement between auctionarie/bidder and SAN. Why shouldn't it be considered as scamming under the anti-scam rule #12. As promising something IC and not providing is considered a scam. Not to mention the fact that auctions were monitored and forced by administration before SAN took it under them.

There is actually an OOC rule regarding this.

Admins should at least take part in the management of auctions. That time everyone will fear withdrawing their offers w/e.

It's not considered as scamming because you have not payed for the item beforehand. In case you have payed for an item but didn't get it, that is scamming.

According to a recently solved FR regarding robbery pot splitting, an admin declared it as scamming if the splitting was promissed priorly.

I had plans for SANBay but some greedy and horny people took over it unprofessionally, but what can I do.
It was going to turn into SAN Mafia for a while.. thanks God it didn't.
Also it was Corleone who pushed me to not care of SAN during me being Consigliere in Corleone, what Buck promised first it was going to be good and would be functionable but what can I do that he's greedy and horny as fuck to be faction-leader.

Yeah this has happened to me three times now... I think in future I will just bid on auctions for players I can trust not to sell the item before expiry. Sick of noobs doing that shit.

For a while noone was in SAN except for you and Flip. You should have carried out your plans way back. You are just saying this because you are mad.

I agree as if u bid on an auction its a kind of IC deal/promise and the one who voilates it shiuld be treeted as a scammer

It is not that easy to create different rules, different options etc, so I don't agree that 'any' legit guy can lead it. It needs update and new features time to time not just expired, sold and invalid.

Since SAN is wiped, I think admins and helpers will be able to moderate the section again now, which might cause to rule breakers getting punished IC and OOC.
