LapTop or Desktop?

I need to know which one would be better. A high dollar laptop, or a low dollar desktop.

Desktops are usually cheaper than laptops, your question makes no sense.

Personally I like a desktop because you can easily change the parts and i don´t like a laptop keyboard ( / laptop w/ keyboard )
Depends more on how you personally are, much around - where you like to game what you think is comfortable etc.

Desktop are always cheaper and better, also you can upgrade their parts so deffinitely I would go for a desktop

Desktops are way to better than laptops, if you are using your PC for games i would recommend you to use desktop computers, theres always problem at laptops in their CPU Fans you can't play more then one hour in laptops without problem,so everygamer suggests desktop computers.

Not that simple though, cause if you are someone like me and have nowhere to put a desktop computer, you can't get one... Can you?...

Well it's a placing problem; but i really recommend the desktop computers try to make a space and buy one..

I prefer a laptop, because I am using it at school and work. A portable device is the best option for me:)

To play? Desktop for sure. To university/work/travel/etc. laptop for sure.

laptops dont have to be expensive.
I have an I7 processor, 1tb, 6 gb of ram and full hd screen for 700 euro's. Which is good value for money

i would prefer a Dekstop made by HP or some another good company, as Mueller stated i don't like the laptop keyboard and i think that the Dekstops are much better and much comfortable than the laptops.

Desktop for gaming. Laptop for school & small games.
The low dollar desktop can be upgraded to a big ass computer, which is 10x cheaper then buying a good computer.

Desktop is way more better for gaming than a lap top. I recommend using a desktop computer.

Laptop's are fucked up, if something dies from inside, it's possible that you will need to fix whole laptop.

Laptops for gaming is a joke. You'd have to spend at least 3 grand on a laptop that would do something a $1000 desktop could do, and probably more than 3000. You're better off getting a weaker laptop with something like an AMD Trinity (not quite ready yet I don't think) for portability, and build a powerful desktop for home.
