Many new players think that when this message appears, the /pm (or /re) doesn't get sent as it says "Error" and not "warning". I'd like to know what's the point of having it, because it actually is one of the reasons people spam the /pm, as they'll keep re-sending it thinking the old one wasn't successfully sent.
I'm a "newfag", so I'd like an "oldfag" to explain it to me.

Basically, once you use '/pm' or '/re' a few times in a row the system thinks automatically you're spamming the command and the inbox of another player. Therefore, this warning message pops up.

Perhaps it warns the player from spamming in the future.

One of these options must be right.

The problem is it appears even though X player did not spam Y player's PM.

Thus, the second option is nearing on correct. Yet, it has no basis .. this is just an assumption.

I guess it's implented to prevent players to spam others PM inbox. Or it's a bug.. (?)

Didn't think of that, possibly a bug.

We didn't have PM in 2008 eoeoeooO.

It's just a bug as I remember. woot said that in the start and that he cannot fix it (or doesn't want to fix it).

Maybe I am wrong but correct me if I am.

This is a bug, been around for 1-2 years I think. For some reason it was never fixed.

I was being metaphoric, with saying 08, as just meaning with that, for a long time.

When I start playing i thought i'll get ban if i keep PMing people ... Or I've to PM just for serouis things. Well I was wrong.

It appears like it's a bug, but the weird thing is that it's not fixed yet.
I'll report it and we'll see woot's response.
