I am looking to buy a video card. Can someone tell me a good one that can run a GTA IV? I don't need the highest so I will buy something I can afford. I just want one that can run a good graphics game. Tell some by commenting, thanks

Tell us your budget
Also please note that GTA 4 is one of the games with worst optimization, so it needs a great GPU

I'm using GeForce GTX 660 Ti and it runs smoothly on GTA IV. (2GB vRAM)
Rockstar recommends: 512MB NVIDIA 8600 / 512MB ATI 3870. I'll try to find a GPU cheap for ya.

Ok, if GTA IV is too high, how about NBA 2k13?
512mb card is already good?
I can't tell budge as we use "Philippines Peso", having a really different price.

I'm not a fan of AMD and I hate it. But if you're planning for AMB you should have
Radeon 6950 or above.
Tell us budget by multiplying your amount of pesos with dollars or euros.

If your budget is good, you should actually go for something new or try the 600 series with GTX. I recommend 660 Ti, it's able to run all new games on highest quality settings and I've had no problems with it.

No way that you'll find a good graphics card up to $60 which will run newest games/ games with bad optimization like gta 4 ..
and no, gt 220 is not that good, it's ddr3 so .. no

Just the graphics of 2k13, I will be contented with that. Or if you know "Black and White II" graphics.

With that budget you can find some good and cheap AMD Radeon GPUs.
Radeon 6950 I think those aren't expensive.

I saw GeForce 630 on the mall, the price is 2870 Pesos, hmm maybe 58-59 USD.
Is it good?

I have the exactly same card, but I have the 4gb version of DDR3
I can run games on my 1440 x 900 screen resolution well
E.g. Far cry 3 on that screen, I can play on medium settings
Battlefield 3 on medium to high
Mafia 2 on highest, same goes to COD Modern warfare series, maxed out even with some AA turned on
GTA 4 cant because it's poor optimizated
But this card for future games Idk, it doesnt seem very well
Anyway if running games like battlefield 3, far cry 3 on medium settings is enough to you, go for this card.. but if you would like to run those games and future games on higher graphics then this is not the best card to go for
I'll try to find another good GPU for $60
EDIT:
If HD 6670 2 GB DDR3 is up to $60 in your country then go for it, that's far better than the GT 630

That graphics card is 72% worse than AMD Radeon HD 6670 2 GB

For $60, HD 6670 2 gb DDR3 is the best you can find, you cant find anything better than that

I don't need future great games like GTA V or smth I just want to play some cool games with good graphics and also to have a good resolution on GTA SA.
So I can play NBA 2k13 on that card? if yes, then put this as answered

It depends on your screen resolution, but yeah GT 630 is good enough to run NBA 2K13 on highest settings.
The HD 6670 2 GB is better than the GT 630, so if you can afford it go for it, if not buy GT 630 2 GB, dont buy the 4 GB version because it performs worse in games
And about GTA 4 .. it's very bad optimizated game
Bad optimizated game = will require better graphics card and other PC components, if it's well optimizated then it'll run good even on worse graphics cards
I guess you'll be able to play GTA 4 on low to medium settings ( using the latest patches which improve performance ) because of its optimization

What is wrong with GDDR3?
GDDR5 has almost as twice Memory Bandwidth, much more than the DDR3 versions
Short example
GT 630 GDDR5 = 51.2GB/sec Memory Bandwidth
GT 630 DDR3 = 28.8GB/sec
Another example
HD 7750 GDDR5 = 72GB/sec Memory Bandwidth
HD 7750 DDR3 = 25.6GB/sec Memory Bandwidth
GDDR5 GPUs are always better than the DDR3, that's why they're more expensive
BTW some of the GDDR5 GPUs have even higher memory speed

Nice facts, but for some budgets you're not able to purchase DDR5
