In character and out of character chats, and their usage.

Hello,
This is a simple guide made explaining the in character and out of character chats.
Please note, that use IC chats for OOC problems would be mixing. And using the OOC for IC problems, like helping you running from the cops, would be mixing and MGing. Both are punishable, please refer to the rules for more information.

In character chats.
Normal chat. Press and type.
This chat is the normal chat, where you press T/F6 and type, then press enter. It's totally in character.
/ann
This is used by legal factions only so they can announce important things, this is tier1+ only. This is totally in-character.
/br
This is for SAN members, you can announce important things, where it would be in the chat, with the [NEWS] tag. This is totally in character.
/w
This is the whisper chat, where you whisper to someone, no one else can see it. And it's totally in character
/cc
This is the car chat, everyone in the car can see this, any one outside it can't. It's in character, but some players use it out of character. ( Confirmed by Bill Davis, thanks )
/r
This is the radio chat. You can talk with everyone else on your freq. And it's totally in character
/p
This is chat for LEOs, where it's called the megaphone, and it's totally in character
/s
This is shouting chat, where you shout. It's totally in character.
/d
This is the department chat for LEAs, they use it to talk with SASF/LSPD/LSFD. It's totally in character. SASF uses it OOC, of course.
/low
This is the 'low' chat, where the nearby players see your chat, with the [low]tag also. It's totally in character.

/hshout
This is the house shout... Where you house shout, you need to be in front of a house. ( At the icon ). This is totally in character.
/hqshout
This the the HQ shout... Where you HQ shout, you need to be in front of the HQ. This is totally in character.
/bizshout
This is the business shout.. Where you biz shout, you need to be in front of the biz. This is totally in character.
/l
This is the same chat as the normal chat. In character
/c
This is for the phone calls. when you call someone. It's totally In character.
/sms
This is when you send an SMS for someone(A number). It's totally in character

Out of character chats
/b or/and '('
This is the local out of character chat. Meaning, it's out of character.
/irc
So you can contact any staff member. This is totally out of character.
/ask
So you can ask your questions to the helpers. This is totally out of character.
The IRC, http://www.sa-mp.im/chat/
This is our IRC channel, where you chat with other members. This is totally out of character.
/g
This is the group chat, everyone in your group see this chat.. And it's totally out of character
/f
This is the faction chat, everyone in your faction see this chat.. And it's totally out of character
/o
This is the global OOC chat. You can chat with everyone else on the server, if it's enabled, of course. And it's totally out of character
/h
This is the helper chat, you don't really need to know this I guess, but, it's out of character, of course.
/pb
This is the paint ball chat, any one in the paint ball can see this chat. It's totally out of character.
/pm
This is the private message. Where you private message someone. No one can see this, only admins, and the guy who you PMed. ( Basic+. ) This is totally
out of character.
/opm
This is the offline private message. Where you private message someone that's offline. No one can see this. This is totally out of character.

I don't want to be spiteful or something but /s and /p are in character chats.

You forgot, /low, /hshout
And the sentence of shouting is a bit messed up, fix the format.
Nice guide would be useful for newbies.

/ask to ask a question.
Beside our chat channel http://sa-mp.im/chat/ where you may chat with others and discuss somethings.
There is /ann for legal factions to announce about something IC.
/br it's for SAN members, it' used to broadcast a specific thing.

Not sure if they should know the last couple of commands or not though.

Still, you should know that.. ( I meant you should know that for the T1, not you ) only T3 needs their commands, any way thanks for your help.
