Getting pulled over

Hello there, I have heard lots of people complaining about getting DM'd after they get pulled over by cops or even when cops have complained about getting DM'd after pulling someone over. This is because our attitude towards them is not right. In this guide, I will explain how to act and roleplay when you get pulled over by a SAPD officer.

So you have been told to pull over your car by a SAPD officer? First thing, don't try to drive away as it will lead to DM after your vehicle will get damaged. So try to co-operate with the officer and RP with him (I'll show you how. If you are new and forget how to RP, I'm sure officer will help you in roleplaying if you don't know how to).
Make sure you park your car correctly and keep space for officer's cruiser. Make sure only two wheels of the right side are on the road. Do not pull over on a corner of road. Drive just a few yards to a proper spot. Remain seated in the vehicle unless you are asked to get out of your vehicle.

Officer will reach to you soon and start conversing with phrase like "Do you know why I pulled you over?" This is the tricky part. Don't give him a reason and ask him why he did so.
Now, he may give any of the following reasons :
1.Route traffic stop
2. Traffic stop.

ROUTING TRAFFIC STOP
So the officer has pulled you over for routine traffic stop. He will check your licenses and registrations and then leave. If your vehicle is not registered, give him a valid reason for it ( I won't state here or else everyone will give that reason). Similarly, if the vehicle is not yours, give the officer a valid reason for driving that vehicle. The officer is not having any rights to check your vehicle unless he is having a valid warrant for checking.

Looks like you broke a traffic rule. He will tell you the rule you broke and will ask for licenses and registrations just like routine traffic stop. This time he will take a closer look and check your name over the MDC. After that, he will write you a ticket and you are free to go (After paying).

/me starts writing something on the ticket.
/do I will be signing on it.
/accept ticket
/me offers the pen to the officer.
"I am free to go now?"
"Thank you, have a nice day"

TIPS AND TRICKS
- Never give them stupid reasons.
- Try to co-operate with them and everything will go smooth.
- Don't let them frisk your vehicle until they have a valid warrant IC.
- Tell them in /b if you don't know how to RP.
- Be nice to them and they will be nice to you.
- Don't attempt to flee.
- Don't let them frisk you until they have valid warrant IC.
- If you are sitting as passenger, remain seated and don't speak. Let the driver handle the situation.
