my laptop got a virus or malware or smth. its downloading this that I don't need and I can't access Google anymore. any can help to remove it?

if chrome is not opening try IE and download a virus guard

1. Download a Virus Guard. ( Something useful - Kaspersky, Norton, Avira ) and Run a Full scan. If It doesn't work.
2. Press F8 in the boot and run Advanced Boot options > Safe Mode like Monday said.

That happend to me, that was the main reason of my inactivity ----> I started hating gaming etcetra, the only way i could fix this was re-installing the whole windows through recovery mode, which led to formatting everything and just the laptop is like its new now, so yeah---->> Thats the only way you can fix your issue though, I am sorry for you. all you got to was to install avast>do a scan outside the windows (cant remember the exact name) and unlike typical scans,it deletes or fixes every file thats infected etc.and yeah,it will basically delete windows files if they are infected.After the scan reboot>if pc starts.all good if not just repair your Pc using the Win Cd.
and no.There are like 1% of viruses which will make.your pc highly.corrupt that you will hav to format and I doubt anyone who uses intetnet basically will get affected sincr they are either in darknet or deep websites.

use windows defender if you u using windows 8/8.1/10 you have it already installed if you lower version of your windows download Essentials at this page(https://ninite.com/)
This is the best antivirus for me at least because it is free and it's Micrsoft made.

Just download torrent,search on torrent pages for the software you need, and download it.

If yes, try to restore windows and clean your system.
If no, I don't think you have any other option, format your PC.

Or, attempt to save important shit, i.e school shit etc on a usb drive or something, and then reformat it?
