Let's put it the other way. Why do you think that LEAs members have joined LEAs? Ignore the ones that joined for the /robbiz.Bossnigguh wrote:@Oak
Yeah okay, as long as you got my message.
I mean, how would everyone else feel if I abused the /close command for paintball and /open it only for Tatts? I wouldnt be breaking any rules, but I would be ruining peoples fun, thats exactly how people feel when you remove their sniper, you basically take away one of the server features from them.

Report the cop IC. The first two infractions are legit, the third isn't.oeoeoe wrote:I've seen a PD t1 taking a license of a guy that didn't even used his weapons, against noone. He gave him 3 infracts, one for carrying illegal weapon (sawn off) other for not having the weapons properly seized in a vehicle and other for flashing weapons in public (which he did not).
All this cause the guy was a T1 in an illegal. So don't come with bullshits.
Well, I wanted to do that, but we tried to reach PD in lobby for 1/2 days which we failed, so we gave up and he just made other application. Anyways, what I was trying to show you is that PD officers are horny to remove t1/0 licenses. This came from a PD t1.Oak wrote:Report the cop IC. I encourage my Officers to pull over people, and I do it myself.oeoeoe wrote:Well, I wanted to do that, but we tried to reach PD in lobby for 1/2 days which we failed, so we gave up and he just made other application. I never get a random traffic stop to be honest, cops actually only respond to robbiz. If a cop tells me to stop I'll surely stop and RP with them. Even if I broke a traffic rule, I'll pay the ticket with no problem.
If people insta call backup it's almost solely your fault. Cops used to insta taze people or frisk people in random traffic stops, that's why people started doing that.
Anyways, "if you see someone doing that, just report them" ^^
I could swear that what you just said is already explicit in the rules... o.OAleya wrote:I didn't read the above replies (phone) but in case someone didn't point this out:
In the rules it says you can't use anything that gains more health/armor during gun fights and their conditions, but as I had a little discussion with Makke he told me that it's allowed to use heroin according to K3lroy, so please add that.
Thanks.

The rule that you cannot /acceptdeath if someone starts roleplaying with you could be a bit sharpened out. What I mean with this is the following.
This rule could apply only after a genuine roleplay situation, which means that after someone is being kidnapped or robbed and shot to death, his kidnappers would still be able to roleplay with his dead body and rob it because a textually roleplayed event triggered it.
However, people run up to someone during massive gunfights and start RPing with a bind /me of /me starts frisking the dead body, which in my opinion doesn't make much sense. Players do this when cops are chasing a criminal and then they fastly make a /me to bind the player to stay, after which he gets taken off his licenses or whatever. It is being massively used right now.
This said, dead bodies should be 'lootable' only after genuine roleplay and not during/after massive chases/gunfights, meaning a 'heavy' textual roleplay event should first unfold prior to the kill to make the now-dead player lootable.
I hope you will go through my post and see some use in it.
Luigi Tattaglia wrote:I hope Kelroy goes through my post on the end of page five because of the following;
I can easily make a bind, run up to someone after just having killed him in a robbery/turftakeover via /me starts frisking the dead body. and force the player into roleplaying with me, which is wrong.
The 'dead body looting roleplay' should be applied only after a 'serious textual roleplay situation' and I'm sure Kelroy intended it to be applied in these situations and not massive PD vs illegal gunfights or robberies where someone runs up to a dead body and fastly spams a couple of /mes.
Examples of what I mean:
- Tattaglia kidnapped a Barzini member. We took him to the forest, RPed kidnapping him properly and invested roleplay effort; we shoot him dead to loot his body.
-A PD member arrested someone and cuffed him. He took him into an alleyway and killed him there as he is corrupt. He removes his licenses.
These are situations where it should happen and I am almost certain(please correct me if I'm wrong) that Kelroy had this intention; to make sure people cannot avoid a certain loss of money/other things after a serious textual RP situation by getting himself killed.
However, the situations currently are:
- Cops and illegals fight it off. Cop runs towards a just-killed illegal member and instantly spams /me drops to the dead body frisking it before the other could even acceptdeath. Then he takes his licenses, drugs, materials and/or money.
^ This is becoming more and more a habbit now and the IC situation IG is horrible when it comes to this.
I hope you will look into it as it has become a misused thing.
If you chase someone down, shoot him down, you shouldn't start RPing with his corpse. It doesn't make any sense. You shouldn't be allowed to instantly /me goes down to the body within 2 seconds not allowing him to acceptdeath.Oak wrote:One thing is RPing that after a GF is over, another is doing it while it's still going on
I am struggling to understand why not. Are you refering for example a 5v5 situation or a 1v1 ?Luigi Tattaglia wrote:If you chase someone down, shoot him down, you shouldn't start RPing with his corpse. It doesn't make any sense. First of all because binds are used. According to that, I can run up to everyone I kill and use a bind and force them to stay in/acceptdeath mode but that doesn't make sense.Oak wrote: I am struggling to understand why not. Are you refering for example a 5v5 situation or a 1v1 ?
To improve the rules even more maybe?Palermo wrote:Such discussions.. I dont see why they are needed tbh.
Hummm I remember you, some months ago, had some binds to jump to the person you just killed and take all their sellables before they accepted death. And now you say you don't like binds. If you used to do it when people could /acceptdeath, I imagine what you'll do now.Oak wrote:I highly disagree with the use of binds (I just don't like them).
But I have to disagree with you, I believe such rule was created to make people carry LESS materials/Drugs, so they risk losing them. So far Illegals had nothing to fear, dying > getting arrested. Now it isn't.
But that's my opinion.... and it's worth what it's worth.

Because, even though we did get an updated ruleset, players can still go find loopholes, intentionally and unintentionally or simply use what the rules allow them to do and set up an unfair environment.Palermo wrote:Such discussions.. I dont see why they are needed tbh.
Why you even reply to such stupid comment? He surely didn't read the whole thread, otherwise he'd know one rule was already fixed due to "such discussions"Luigi Tattaglia wrote:Because, even though we did get an updated ruleset, players can still go find loopholes, intentionally and unintentionally or simply use what the rules allow them to do and set up an unfair environment.Palermo wrote:Such discussions.. For example, for healing we required 10 minutes. I pointed out a problem with it, the management thought its useful to change it and they did. That is why this thread is open after all.
